Thomas F. Viner, M.D., F.A.C.S.


Thomas F. Viner was born in Omaha, Nebraska and grew up in Leon, Iowa. He attended Central Decatur High School graduating in 1965. He attended Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa graduating in 1969. He attended the University of South Dakota Medical School from 1969 to 1971 and The University of Iowa Medical School from 1971 to 1973 graduating in 1973.

He was in general practice 1974 to 1975 at the Leon Clinic in Leon, Iowa. His Otolaryngology Residency was 1975 to 1979 at The University of Iowa. He has practiced Otolaryngology and head and neck surgery in Iowa City from 1979 to present.
