Hearing Testing

Our audiologists perform diagnostic hearing testing which can include pure tone testing, speech/word recognition testing, tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions, and acoustic reflexes.

Vestibular/Balance Testing

If your ENT physician refers you for balance/dizzy symptoms, our audiologists will evaluate your vestibular system via electronystamography (ENG), which includes ocular-motor testing, positional testing, and air-caloric testing.

Hearing Aid Evaluation

During this one-hour appointment, our audiologists work with you to better understand your hearing test, communication needs, hearing goals, and potential candidacy for hearing aids. Our office works with three hearing aid manufacturers: Phonak, Oticon, and Starkey.

Hearing Aid Fitting

During this one-hour appointment, our audiologists will program your hearing aid(s) based on your hearing test using Real-Ear Verification. You will also review with them how to use the hearing aid(s), charger, and batteries and will practice putting your hearings aid(s) on and taking them off.

Hearing Aid Verification (Real-Ear)

Real-Ear Verification is an objective measurement of how much sound your hearing aids are providing you based on your individual hearing test and the acoustics of your ear canal. This measurement ensures the hearing aids are programmed appropriately for each individual patient.

Tinnitus Management

Our audiologists offer counseling on the management of tinnitus. We will guide you through strategies for adapting to tinnitus and finding ways to reduce the impact of tinnitus on your daily life.

Custom Sound and Water Protection

Custom earplugs are a good option for those who want to protect their hearing from loud sound exposure and/or for those who need to protect their ears from water. We offer musician plugs, industrial plugs, police radio plugs, custom swim plugs, and more. During this 30-minute appointment, our audiologists take impressions of your ears and review earplug style and color options. Once the custom earplugs arrive back to the clinic, you will be scheduled for a return appointment to ensure a good earplug fit.

Hearing Aid Accessories

We offer a variety of additional supplies that hearing aid users may utilize. This includes extra domes, filters, hearing aid dryers, battery testers, cleaning supplies, and batteries.

Assistive Listening Devices

For some patients, additional amplification is necessary through intermediary devices. Our audiologists can help provide you with information about compatible TV streamers, bed shakers, captioned phones, and remote microphones.

Batteries

Our hearing department has in stock a full line of hearing aid batteries in the following sizes: 10, 312, 13, 675.
